On Monday night we went up Millcreek Canyon with some friends (Jayne and Scott) and had a cook out. It finally felt like a summer night! We had a great fire, and delicious tinfoil dinners! Best of all were the deserts. You guys have to try this: So you wrap a banana in tinfoil and put it in the fire for a bit, then when you pull it out, you unpeel it and stick little chunks of chocolate and marshmellow inside. Then you stick it back in the fire and let it all melt. You take your graham crackers and dip them in the goodness and enjoy! Scott (not my Scott, Jayne's Scott) was feeling like iron chef that night and made a delicious creation of marshmellow/chocolate/banana pie! He made a graham cracker crust and loaded it up with chocolate and marshmellows. We put it on the fire and let it melt and man was it delicious! After we ate it he told Jayne and I that he put a whole stick of butter in for the crust! Both Scotts got a good laugh out of that one! But man was it worth the calories! It was so fun to sit around the fire and talk, and to have the clear sky above us with all the beautiful stars. We live in the most beautiful place, we are sure going to miss it!
