Hello everyone! Man it's been so long since I've posted. You'd think we'd fallen off the face of this Earth, but really we're just hangin' out in Omaha and trying to get the hang of things with this new little one around!
Everything is going great! Jane is such a babe. I love this girl so much and she is the best baby. I can't believe how fast she is growing, she is such a chunk. She is becoming so alert and aware of her surroundings and we've gotten a few smiles out of her. It seems to get better every day and we are starting to get into the swing of things. We're still not on a perfectly set schedule by any means but we start every morning out with a run and come back and eat and take a nap or a tubby. I try to put her down to bed between 9:30 and 10:00 right after she eats and she goes right down. She started out waking through the night every 3-4 hours but sometimes she'll go longer. The longest she's ever gone is about 6 1/2 which was incredible and I hope for more nights like that! Nursing is going fabulous. As hard as it is to get up with her in the middle of the night sometimes, those have been some of my favorite, most precious moments with her. I will dread getting out of bed when I hear her start to fuss and then the second I pick her up I just am so excited to see her. I instantly forget that I was mad at her! I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with her. I am loving every minute of it. I swear the days fly by so fast. We go on lots of walks and take naps and run errands. She is a champ to run errands with, she's just so dang easy.

Scott is such a great dad. He's so fun and playful with Jane and I think it's all starting to sink in for him. At first he said he wasn't quite sure what to do with her but now he couldn't be any cuter with Jane. He is super busy with school so we enjoy every minute we get to spend with him at night time or really early in the morning before school.
We've had great company! My mom of course was here the first week and saved the day. Could not have survived without her, I was in such bad shape for awhile there. Then last week my dad and Crystal came out and we had a blast. And this past weekend Scott's parents have been here and we had so much fun with all of them. Every single one of them have been so giving and we are so grateful for all the groceries, gifts, and time spent with them. Jane is one lucky gal to have 6 grandparents!!

Here are some pics of our daily life with Jane:

She LOVES her changing table when the sun is shining. She sprawls out and conks every time. She loves to soak in the rays just like her mama :)We took our first trip to the zoo a few weeks ago!And down to the Farmer's Market:
Our new favorite toy....a jogging stroller. This thing is the best thing that ever happened to me. I LOVE taking her out every morning. It lays back so Jane can just conk out and it feels so good to be running again. I feel better and stronger than ever. This is a picture of Jane when we took her home from the hospital. She has grown up SO much I can't believe it.The hair. Oh the hair she has. It is INSANE and out of control! We thought she was going to lose it but no! It is growing more and more. The girl has such a fro I don't even know what to do with it! Sometimes I try to just comb it over to the side, but other days we just let it fly like this one! Scott styles it in a mohawk sometimes which is pretty sweet. This is Jane at one month old! She is 6 weeks today though! Wow.I got a kick out of this one. Like I said, Scott is the cutest dad ever. He's totally gonna be the favorite, and me the mean mom.Meeting Grandpa for the first time! And boy did she love him. It was so fun to have dad and Crystal here. We even got a special night out at the Cheesecake factory! Mostly a treat for Scotty and I!We love this little gal.

Neat Pictures

My dearest friend Chelsea took these sweet pictures of Jane. They are such a treasure and I can't get enough of em'. It was such a treat to watch her in action as she worked her magic and Jane slept away. We were lucky enough to have my mom here to be in a few and Scott came home just in time to get snapped into a couple as well. I will definitely cherish these forever and ever. It was hard to pick just a few but these are some of my favorites. Thank you sweet Chelsea.

Chels also was a sweetheart and took some pictures of me right before I had Jane. It's hard to believe that this little gal was in that big belly less than a month ago. I have been thinking so much lately of the incredible miracle little babies are. It's something I don't understand, but I do know that it is something so special from God. How amazing that she could survive in there?! It's the greatest gift and the neatest thing I've ever experienced.
