Cancun=Paradise

Scott and I are two of the biggest penny pinchers but we splurged on this trip. I can't believe I talked him into it! We have never done anything like this and know we won't for a long, long time so we took advantage! It has been a long, rough winter and it was time for us to get out and let's be honest, rekindle our marriage!! By the way, we're having a baby in August! Yay! A boy (according to Fetal Fotos at 18 weeks). Scott was too impatient to wait 2 more weeks for my regular ultrasound so we forked up the 50 bucks! (speaking of penny pinchers...maybe we're worse than I thought). Anyway, my point was that I have been SO sick with this little guy....all kinds of throwing up and nausea and IV's that it was time to get out and do something fun!!! We went with two of our dearest friends from dental school who we miss so much. We had the best time with them.

Cody and Scott are such babes. It was so nice for them to have each other and talk dentistry 24/7 and Chels and I could catch up. Isn't that water beautiful?

This was a picture right out back one morning when I went out for a run. Can't beat that!

This is our beautiful place. There's not one thing I would even change about it. It was perfect in every way. SO nice and beautiful in every aspect, service was unbelievable and the food was fantastic. Oh geez, we ate so much. It was all inclusive and since we don't drink, we really made up for it by eating a TON!

Love this dear sweet friend of mine. Sure miss having her 50 yards away from me, eating lunch together almost every day and having a second mom for Jane.

One day we ventured out and caught the bus, went to a flea market and to the outdoor mall. Jane insisted that we bring her back a pink butterfly necklace. The whole market

Thank heavens for the game room! While everyone was partying it up at the LAME night time entertainment, we always took the game room for ourselves and the dudes had some pretty intense games of ping pong.

This pretty much sums up what we did everyday.

This was the view from the gym. Not a bad deal! But it was torture because I really just wanted to be outside instead of in there. But with all the intake of calories, it was a must!!

This was the deal breaker. When Scott finally "okayed" this trip he made me promise that he could bury me. I HATE to be sandy, sticky, anything like that so this was torture. I thought I had gotten away with it but right before we left...it happened.

Heaven! The whole trip really was heaven. Can't wait to go back to that beautiful, blue water some day.

I've been putting off blogging because I'm so overwhelmed at even where to start! I'm so far behind....so I'm just gonna quickly catch up with some pics of what's been going on around here this winter. Then we'll get to Cancun, and this recent "spring/winter" we've been having. These are all iphone pics, so nothing special but easy! But to summarize, we're doing great! Loving living in Salt Lake and being with our awesome friends and family. The mountains are gorgeous. Scott loves being a dentist. Although we still have our days where we wanna pack up and get outta here for a new adventure and go make more mula as a dentist somewhere else! Student loans are like a dark black circle hanging over our heads that never sleeps.

Here's my sweet Jane doing her beloved playdough. We make "pancakes" and then match the lids on the right color. Jane is such a smarty pants. Can't wait to get her into preschool. She'll eat it up.

Scotty and I escaped skiing a few times. Heavenly for us.

Remember Jane in the snow last year? Terrified. Wouldn't even touch it, walk on it. Completely freaked. Well, that's over. She LOVES the snow and making footprints, eating it, you name it.

Right after New Years Jane got this AWFUL, I repeat, the awful-est flu ever. She was out for about 10 days. I seriously thought she was going to die! She was so lethargic, wouldn't eat a dang thing, diarrhea, 105 fever, you name it, just not my Jane. It was so so so so great to finally get her back. That was an awful 10 days.

This is what we do when daddy comes home on his lunch breaks. Oreos and milk. Like Father like Daughter.

Walking up in Midway. Jane looks so old in this pic! Besides that, it's one of my faves.

We did it! We got Jane up to Alta. Hilarious to watch because if you know Jane, she's the most cautious girl on the planet. She was a great sport! Loved it at first and then that died! Didn't want it to become a bad memory so as soon as the tears came we were out of there and praising her in the car the whole way home!

This girl won't ride in the car without shades. So unlike her mother who never wears sunglasses.

Playing Wildlife Bingo out on Mumzy's front porch. Best grandma ever!!
