So I have found a new love for something and it's my new road bike! You guys I am totally addicted. My knees are really bad, and the doctor said I shouldn't be running on them anymore (I know it's retarded, I'm 22) but I love running so much that I just kept doing it. I went through a little phase where I started swimming for a workout, but I just couldn't get into it. So a few months ago I went biking with two darling girls that I work with out to Antelope Island and we biked for miles and miles and I fell in love! So I saved and both Scotty and I picked up extra shifts at work so I could buy a new bike! And I just have to tell you how much I am loving it. I can't miss a day you guys. I think about it while I'm at work and at school and can't wait to just get on my bike. It's great exercise, but at the same time you can go so far and explore! So anyway, that's my new favorite thing right now.....totally loving it! Call me if you ever want to go!

Congrats that's awesome, wish I was there to go with you. I love it too I haven't been able to run forever because of my knees (I know who'd think so young but cheer ruined them) so I have gone to biking and absolutely love it, can't wait for it warm up so I can go!
I guess you take after your brother. I am so excited for you. I have wanted a road bike for so long and want to start saving for one. How much did yours cost? Maybe when we come to visit this summer I will have and we can ride together. I also wanted to comment on your previous post. Good-job on making bread etc. I want the recipes. Looking at the pics made me miss you guys so much. Hopefully we get to see you soon.

I know how you feel. I have old lady knees too! My doctor told me the same thing but I just can't not run! I am so happy you wrote on our blog! I didn't even know you had one so I'm glad I know where to find it :) Have you guys decided where your going to Dental school? I think Cath told me but I can't remember.
I love the bike! I want to get back into biking again...it was my favorite thing in the world when I was younger! :-)
Teddy thats so awesome! Dave is really getting into road biking right now, he is training for the lotoja. He has dragged me and the girls along on a few rides and I hear ya.....I love it!!! Me and Dave actually biked the causway out to antelope a few weeks ago in a snowstorm, such fun. Dave actually let me ride his bike he bought from Abby on our ride today....I want one so bad. Did it take you a bit to get used to clip in petals. Hehe, I think they are a little scary, or i'm just retarded.
Yeah Teddy, I'm all for going once this little bump gets out of my way! I wish they made a prego bike that you could sit differently on... Oh well, guess I'll have to wait til July to go... But I know what you mean, I love the adventure part, I could never go that far running! :)
So i'm actually having some hangups about the race. First, I'm really not that great at biking and don't know if I can make it under the time requirement and Second, the 40 bucks. Dave is really pushing me to do it though so I probably will. Wish me luck. Let me know if you decide to. It would fun!
