-Our house is in shambles. I have always gotten "edgy" if my house isn't clean and so this is getting to me but I'm trying to just get used it. It's just gonna be this way for a couple more weeks while we're in the moving process.
-I think I might start potty training Jane after we move and get settled. She always says, "I go pee-pee" or "I go potty mama". She tells me when she poops and she loves to sit on the toilet. Is it too early or do I jump on it?
-Scott is completely done with school. Every day is feeling like a Saturday with him around. We are loving it and this "limbo" time right now before the real world quickly kicks in.
-This morning at the gym they had MTV music videos on one of the TV's. I was literally puking while running on the treadmill. I couldn't believe what was on. I can't believe that crap is on normal TV. I went and asked them to please change the channel. I'm sure all the dudes were mad at me. Goodness, I fear for my children of what's to come if girls making out with girls and smoking pot and dirty dancing is just becoming "the norm".
-I have completely lost my voice. It's never happened to me before. When I was a teenager I always wished it would happen to me and now that it has I take all those feelings back....it's hard to be a mom with no voice!
-I have found the new trick for curling my hair. Im stoked about it. It stayed for 2 days, perfect as could be.
-Carnation instant breakfasts have become my saving grace for breakfast for Jane. She loves them and it's so nice that they are nutritious. And ever since Easter she's obsessed with hard boiled eggs. She hates the yolk but loves the white part. They're a great snack for her.
-I really want to get one of these for Jane this summer. A few of our friends kids have them and they are awesome!!!
-This was such a delicious meal.
-I love this treadmill workout. It makes an hour go by so fast. I try to do it a couple times a week.
-I still drool everytime I see this shoes. I desperately want them.
-Counting down the days till our family gets here!!!
-Dad and brother are doing the St. George Ironman again on Saturday. 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 run....so inspiring. Last year being able to be there was one of the neatest days of my life. I'm just sick we can't be there again for them. Rock it guys!!!!

Great post Teddy! I totally can relate to feeling edgy when the house isn't clean! I totally think you could start potty training with Jane. We spent all day last Saturday shopping for one of those striders. We finally found one at REI. We wanted to see if Finn would fit. Good thing we tried because his toes totally didn't reach enough! Maybe that brand is a little shorter... Those bikes are awesome!

That's amazing that Jane will eat hard boiled eggs! Impressive! She's better than I am! I still won't go near those things.

LOVE this post Teddy! I am the queen of "list" journaling...just get 'er done. a. the worst part of moving is the constant mess, don't fight it, it's a waste of time b. Now I wish I hadn't just cut all my hair off (again)...I might need some more details on how to curl...is it just the wand that has the magic, or do you actually have to have some styling skillz? cause I don't. c. jane has been pooping on the potty for months but for some reason the pee thing is way beyond her..can't decide if I should push it d. don't be mad but...I bought the shoes!! I pinned them months ago and promised myself I could get them after I exercised for 60 days...they are my treat. Hey if I can bribe my kids I can bribe myself, right? e. our friends just took the pedals off a $20 huffy, so that's what Jane's getting instead of a strider, seems to work great...f. SO EXCITED for your future! Can't wait to see what life has in store for you guys.

If she likes using the potty then go with it. I think learning to use the potty is a skill that is best viewed to be a process instead of "today it's diapers and tomorrow it's underwear....FOREVER!" But, that's just me.

Good luck in moving and packing. Exciting things are ahead!
